THE WAYFINDERS

I'm not about to hit yall with the "this aint just a brand, its a lifestyle" cliché. I'm just doing me with the best I have and with the time I got on this earth and most likely wont be appreciated until I die

Without going too much into it, my life hasn't always been marshmallows and ice cream. This has been a hell of a journey. One thing that has been a crutch on this journey has been the love of art. Drawing or doodling on something has been something that carried me through a lot of dark places in the mind. By the grace of God I've had talented folks around me that guided me through this journey. 

First and foremost I gotta give it up to Our heavenly father by the Grace of Jesus Christ and his teachings it has been a huge impact on my life. Everything I am and everything I have is all because God's Grace, Love and Forgiveness.

Secondly I have to give it up to my family that has always been there for me from the gate. I haven't always made it easy on them to deal with me and I am forever in debt to there Godly ways of loving me. Ofa lahi atu famili

As a first generation Tongan/Hawaiian kid born and raised in the Bay Area of California, I've been influenced by a wide range of music, art, and culture. This fusion of influence is what you'll find in the clothing and accessories I design. 

One of the growing issues I see for the future of our Pasifiki people in the diaspora is as we grow and navigate the planet we start to lose our sense of community with each other. Our sense of connection to the land, ocean, and people are being diluted by influences that are foreign to us. One of the core reasons we made it this far is because our community and the mentality of always remembering where we come from. Therefore one of our core values and messages to our people is "ONLY US STOP US"

Furthermore with community, faith, hope, love and hard work we can continue this journey together in a way that we all win and grow as one. We are stronger in numbers.

Taking it a step further, another one of our core values and messages is to "STAY PRAYED UP." With faith, hope, love and hard work we can over come anything. Having that conversation with the heavenly father will not only help but will make the journey just a bit more clear for us. When you got it PRAY, when you need it PRAY.

All of these messages will be found within every garment or accessory we make. Sometimes subtle and sometimes bold. With every drop, we strive to get this message to the world as a lesson or simply a reminder.
